Dr. Crum is a board certified family physician who has a special interest in geriatric medicine. He works closely with his patients and their families and caregivers to provide advice to help them navigate the medical challenges that come with aging.

Dr. Crum was born in Plant City, Florida. He graduated from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He completed his family practice residency with Portsmouth Family Medicine / Eastern Virginia Medical School. He is Associate Community Faculty with EVMS and provides hands on training to their medical students.

Dr. Crum began his practice in Portsmouth in 1987 working with Dr. Maurice Schlanger until his retirement in 1990. At that time he founded Family Medicine, P.C. and brought many of Dr. Schlanger’s patients with him. He remains on medical staff with Maryview Medical Center. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Medical Society of Virginia and the American Medical Association.

In his free time Dr. Crum enjoys boating, racquetball, gardening, and visiting his grandchildren in South Carolina.


Dr. Stiles is a Board Certified Family Physician. Her goal is to treat with compassion as she forms a partnership with her patients to promote their short and long term health.

Dr. Stiles grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee. She attended Newcomb College of Tulane University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She then spent ten years in the business world before returning to school at the University of Connecticut where she did her post-baccalaureate studies. She received her MD from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1997 and completed her residency with Portsmouth Family Medicine/EVMS where she served as Chief Resident in her third year.

Dr. Stiles has practiced medicine for the past twelve years with Churchland Family Medicine. She also practiced urgent care medicine at McDonald Army Health Center in Fort Eustis, VA. She is Board Certified with the American Board of Family Medicine. She is on staff at Maryview Medical Center, is an assistant professor with the Community Faculty for EVMS, is on the EVMS Alumni Board and is a member of the Medical Society of Virginia.

Dr. Stiles has been married for over twenty years. She has two teenage children, one son and one daughter. She enjoys cooking, travel, and family time at the beach.


Dr. Cyr is board certified in family medicine with a special interest in working in collaboration with his patients to achieve health and wellness. He believes that a healthy mind, body and soul are essential to maximize well-being. He aggressively promotes health maintenance and disease prevention through healthy lifestyle behaviors. Dr. Cyr graduated from University of New England where he was inducted as a member of Psi Sigma Alpha in recognition of academic excellence. He completed his internship at William Beaumont Army Medical Center and then served three years in the U.S. Army as a member of the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, NY. He then did his residency at Portsmouth Family Medicine / Eastern Virginia Medical School. He is Associate Community Faculty with EVMS. He has been recognized with the Patient’s Choice Award 2009, 2010, and 2011 and Most Compassionate Doctor in 2010 and 2011.

Dr. Cyr has provided quality medical care in Hampton Roads for sixteen years. He is married with two daughters. He enjoys boating, golf, tennis, and hanging out with his family.
